<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Cyrus Adler, Washington, C.C.</dc:title>
<dc:description>In reply to Adler's of 28 September the Society, in response to his previous communication of 20 July, made up a parcel of as complete as possible a set of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' for despatch to the California Academy of Sciences, to replace those destroyed in the San Francisco fire. The question of supplementing this grant with one of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' will have to be considered, but he is sure they will do everything they can. </dc:description>
