<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks him for his letter of yesterday enclosing Bernacchi's photographs. They are an excellent help in understanding the position of the stations, and should be reproduced. There are currently not of good enough quality to copy, and if Bernacchi has silver prints, they will be more acceptable, if he could put any letters or figures on them. There is a discrepancy in the views of the panoramas, indicating that they were taken at different seasons of the year. It would be good to print both, if Bernacchi could put the date on the back.</dc:description>
