The Royal Society have never seen a report from the Advisory Committee. The letter is the first proof it has been issued. They are writing at once to the Colonial Office for copies of it. Until Geikie has seen it, he cannot enter into discussion over the questions raised in Ross' letter to Milne. 31 January 1907
