<dc:title>Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Sir T Wrightson</dc:title>
<dc:description>Referee's reports are confidential, but Larmor can give the gist. The physical referees said that Wrightson's paper was not suitable for publication by the Royal Society, but supposed that a brief abstract might appear in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. A physiological referee was requested, and their view was that there was little novelty in the physiological respect, although the [?] apparatus has some value. Larmor is sorry that the view of the Council is that the paper is not suitable for publication by the Royal Society.</dc:description>
