<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Augustus Desire Waller, [Fellow of the Royal Society]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison explains that, as Sir Henry Roscoe has declined the role due to his absence from the country, the President of the Royal Society has nominated Waller as their representative in the Federal Conference on Education. He hopes that Waller will be able to attend. He cautions that, as the Council has not had the opportunity of discussing the subjects to be covered, he will not be able to speak on their behalf.

Harrison has informed the Honorable Secretary of the League of the Empire of Waller's nomination, so that all necessary documents be forwarded to him.</dc:description>
