<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to C H Hart, 2206 Delancey Place, Philadelphia, USA</dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison responds to Hart's enquiry to say that they do own an oil painting of Benjamin Franklin, presented by Caleb Whitefoord in 1790, but they have no record of its painter. The portrait was photographed in 1891 by G Hyatt, on the initiative of B F Stevens, for reproduction in the US official account of the inauguration of the American Government. They also possess a plaster bust presented by Earl Stanhope in 1871.</dc:description>
