Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to M Walton Brown, The Institution of Mining Engineers, Newcastle upon Tyne Harrison responds to Brown's circular letter, stating that the Council of the Royal Society had considered letters from his intitution and the British Weights and Measures Association in January, and they are prepared to support an application to the Postmaster General about postage of scientific publications. Any such application will receive consideration by the Society, but any action must wait for the next Council meeting, which will not be before the end of October. 17 July 1907
