<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Messrs Robarts Lubbock & Company</dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison refers to a movement for the formation of a fund for the portrait of the late Sir Michael Foster, and he asks whether they would be willing to open such a fund and receive contributions, as they did for Huggins and Rayleigh. He also asks that they advise a method to avoid needing to endorse cheques prior to their being paid into the account.

He asks whether there is still five pounds and 19 shillings to the credit of the Huggins Portrait Fund as shown in the pass book, and notes that they intend to close this account prior to opening the Forster Portrait Fund.</dc:description>
