<dc:description>During the vacation the radium purchased from Mr Hardy has been handed to professor Liveing and it is necessary to draw a cheque in Hardy's favour. The particulars of the quantity of radium bromide in the specimen are contained in a letter from Liveing which was sent to Rayleigh about 24 June by Sir William Huggins. Asks Rayleigh to return this letter with his authority for making the payment. </dc:description>
