Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Mrs Holland Harrison has discovered, after investigation, that the payment of Mr Holland's contribution to the Royal Society was requested after it had been already been paid by Messrs King & Company, and so it has been paid twice. The error arose as they had not sent a formal receipt to King & Company, and he apologises for this clerical error. He is surprise that King & Company did not call attention to the omission. They will refund Holland or his agents, as directed, which would be preferable to carrying the amount over to the following year. 4 October 1907
