Copy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary, Royal Society Miss Stopes and D M S Watson's paper on 'the Present Distribution and Origin of the Calcareous Concretions in Coal Seams, known as 'Coal Balls'' was sent to Aubrey Strahan, Chairman of the Geology Committee, but has been received back with a message to the effect that Strahan is away and will not return for some weeks. The manuscript is at the Society and awaits Geikie's further instruction. 27 July 1907
