<dc:description>Geikie explains that the President and Council of the Royal Society yesterday considered their letter of 9 November (reference R. & S. 3085) concerning the constitution of the Advisory Committee for the investigation of Plague in India. They think the Committee is currently adequate for the duties with which it is charged, but will offer no objection to the proposed enlargement if the Government of India wishes it.</dc:description>
