<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Hamilton Dent, Buckland, Lymington, Hampshire</dc:title>
<dc:description>In response to Dent's enquiry, Harrison gives details of John Dent, Member of Parliament, who was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society on 16 May 1811, and formally admitted on 13 June 1811. The certificate of qualification for election, signed by twelve Fellows, refers to him as a man "conversant in many branches of Natural Knowledge" and living at Hertford Street, Mayfair. They have no further information, and Dent does not appear in the Dictionary of National Biography.</dc:description>
