<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Albert Abraham Michelson, Foreign Member of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Alfred Bray Kempe has handed Harrison the cheque for £50 which they sent Michelson in connection with the Copley medal award, and which he said Michelson has had some trouble negotiating. He has therefore obtained a draft to Michelson's order for 242.87 dollars on the First National Bank, Chicago which he encloses, requesting word of its safe receipt.

He explains the delay in addressing the matter was caused by arrangements for the funeral of Lord Kelvin, which disrupted normal business before the Christmas holiday.</dc:description>
