Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs W Thacker & Co, 2 Creed Lane, Ludgate Hill, EC The parcels which we consigned to W Thacker's care contain a series of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society order by Mr Gilbert T Walker, Fellow of the Royal Society, Director General of Observatories, Indian Meteorological Department, Simla, and intended for the library of the department. Harrison trusts that W Thackers will be able to effect their transmission. The Director General has been advised that the parcels have been sent to W Thackers and Harrison has no doubt that the freight will be discharged by him in the ordinary course.
