<dc:title>Copy letter from Archibald Geikie to Oliver and Boyd, Edinburgh</dc:title>
<dc:description>It is understood from Dr Wilson that he has sent the material and lettering for the plates for the Antarctic volume and should receive from Swan a complete set of their reproductions. Letter asks for an estimate of the precise thickness of the volume. Discusses the size, weight and thickness of a book of the whole works. It might be most satisfactory if a dummy volume were put together from which a judgement can be made and this should be done with as little delay as possible. </dc:description>
