Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society 'Paper on "Refractive index and dispersion of light in argon and helium" by W Burton. Mr Cuthbertson's letter is enclosed. I feel uncertain whether we are justified in letting him publicly quote from a paper before it is published. I have sent him the meeting room abstract of Burtn's paper, which he could have got in any case but have told him that on the question of publication I must take counsel. In any case I have suggested to him the author's consent would seem necessary.' 2 March 1908
