Search has been made for information about Francis Lodwick, but beyond two entries in a journal book of the [Royal] Society, one when he was proposed as a candidate and the the other when he was elected as a Fellow, no other mention appears to be made of him. Mr Folmer is published in the Philosophical Transactions on a "Universal Alphabet" and there is an unpublihsed manuscript in the archives. 
2. McClintock Memorial.
