<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Secretary, The Junior Institute of Engineers, 39 Victoria Street, SW</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of March 12, I have to say that it is not the practice of the [Royal] Society to lend original blocks of illustrations to papers in the Proceedings [of the Royal Society]. I will however, if it will answer your purpose, order our printers, Messrs Harrison & Sons, to prepare an electro of the block you mention at your expense. The cost of such an electro will be trifling, and on hearing from you I will at once put the matter in hand. It is a condition of the Society that due acknowledgment is made of the source from which such illustrations are reproduced.'</dc:description>
