<dc:title>Copy Letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor E [Edmund] J [Johnston] Garwood, 24 Portland Place, W</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Professor Garwood,
On receipt of your letter of May 30 I made enquiries as to whether it would be practicable to postpone the reading of your paper to one of the later dates, but it seems pretty clear that there would not be time for any actual exposition at either of the two remaining meetings of the session, on account of the pressure of other papers. The Secretaries suggest that the paper should be taken as read but that you should be given the opportunity of exhibiting the instrument as you propose. The paper has therefore been kept on the list for next Thursday.'</dc:description>
