  <dc:description>Regrets to say that the Chinese-Latin Dictionary cannot be traced to the year they refer. According to the Library Catalogue such a dictionary was not possessed in 1806. Notes that there is no mention by Dr Morrison, in the preface to his English-Chinese Dictionary, of his having used a Chinese-Latin Dictionary lent by the Royal Society. It would appear there was some mistake in the particulars given in Dr Smith's book.</dc:description>
