<dc:title>Copy letter from Theodore E James, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Royal College of Surgeons paid for the plates in the issue of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' B 264, and these were estimated at £15. There are 17 copies of this issue on sale. Four or five copies could be spared without harm. There does not seem to be any demand for the part, probably because Sir Victor Horsley gave a good number of copies away.</dc:description>
