Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor H [Hugh] L [Longbourne] Callendar, Fellow of the Royal Society 'Dear Professor Callendar, I have this morning from you the Certificate of candidature for Mr S W J Smith. I feel bound however to point out that on the face of it it is irregular in having a signature pasted on to the Certificate. I do not know exactly how the Council would deal with the irregularity, but I imagine that it would not go further than omitting the attached name from the printed list that goes around.' 23 December 1908
