Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physiology Sectional Committee Captain R McCarrison's papers on "Further Researches on the etiology of endemic goitre": communicated by Major R Ross, CB, FRS [Fellow of the Royal Society]. Dr J S Haldanes' report on the above paper has been received and he recommends that the abstract be published as a preliminary communicator but not he longer paper itself. He agrees with Dr Martin that the conclusions are not fully established but considering the difficulties the evidence should be brought forwarded. 17 November 1908
