Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Reverend A E Sorby 'Dear Sir, At a meeting of the Council of the Royal Society held on Thursday last it was resolved to accept the Trust created by the Will of the late Mr H C Sorby for the establishment of a Professorship or Scholarship. As treasurer of the Royal Society I am empowered to receive the amount of Mr Sorby's legacy and to give a receipt for the same on behalf of the Society.' 25 January 1909
