<dc:title>Copy letter from Alfred Bray Kempe to Messrs Robarts Lubbock & Co</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Gentlemen,
I have to thank you for your letter of January 26th.
With regard to my order for the investment of £1000 in Manchester Corporation Stock, I should, after the information you give as to the difficulty in obtaining stock suitable for trustee investments, such as the Stockton, Bristol, Sheffield or Croydon Stock to which you refer. I would leave it to your broker to do the best he can in the selection. As before stated, the sum to be invested is £1000, and is to be taken from the amount standing to the credit of the Royal Society's Trust Account.'</dc:description>
