Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to T D John, Dinas Council School, Rhondda Harrison finds that the claims for admission drawn up by Dr Dallinger's proposers in the original certificate date 1877 were based upon the research by Dr Dallinger. This research included: The Life-History of a Cercomonad, a lesson in Biogenesis; further researches into the Life-history of the Monads; a demonstration of the existence of a pair of flaglle; researches on the behaviour of moned germs in a putrescible fluid when the fluid was exposed alternately to an air charged with them and to one 'optically' pure.' 6 February 1909
