Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Few & Co 'Gentlemen, In reply to your letter of yesterday, on the subject of the Lawes Agricultural Trust, the following is a copy of the Resolution passed by the Council at their meeting on January 21st last:- That the President be authorised on behalf of the President and Council of the Royal Society to sign an instrument appointing the Right Honourable Alfred Lyteelton a Trustee of the Lawes Agricultural Trust in the place of Sir John Evans, KCB, deceased.' 13 February 1909
