<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor E [Ernest] H [Howard] Griffiths, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison received Griffiths' letter with the paper by Mr Shaxby. If Griffiths applies for a silver copy of his Hughes medal it will be laid before the Council, but Harrison tells confidentially that when it was decided to give silver duplicates with all gold medals, a proposition was made that the act should be retrospective for some years, but the Council would not adopt it.</dc:description>
