Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor J [John] Joly, Fellow of the Royal Society 'Dear Professor Joly, I was ill in bed when your letter of the 13th arrived, but I have consulted Professor Larmor upon it, and he agrees that it would be very desirable to have a portrait of Mr Wilson attached to his obituary notice provided it involves no expense to the Society. You will understand that if we established a precedent of furnishing a portrait with obituary notices, it would be difficult to withhold it in any case that arose.' 18 March 1909
