<dc:title>Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Professor William Aitcheson Haswell, University of Sydney</dc:title>
<dc:description>Haswell's letter of 8 December 1890 has been placed before the President and Council of the Royal Society who have made a £50 grant to the proposed Marine Biological Station from their Donation Fund. The President and Council have great pleasure in doing this as they are assured that the establishment of such a station will serve to advance biological studies in the Colonies, and by means of it, they look forward to valuable research being carried out.</dc:description>
