  <dc:description>When last at the Royal Society White told Rix that he could claim abatement of income-tax on White's pension. Rix accordingly wrote a letter to the Surveyor of Taxes which White will find enclosed herewith [not attached]. In reply the Surveyor asks White to fill out the large attached form and then return the whole batch, Rix's letter and all, to the Surveyor. </dc:description>
