<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr H de Variguy, 7 Rue de Sfax, Paris</dc:title>
<dc:description>Variguy's post-card has been forwarded to Rix by Messrs Harrison. Rix encloses a postal order for seven shillings and six pence to refund the carriage of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and regrets that Variguy should have been put to so much trouble. Rix is writing to Messrs Dulau to tell them to be careful to treat the Society's correspondent with more courtesy in future.</dc:description>
