Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Greek Minister Rix presents his compliments and states that Professor Blackie's paper on the 'phases of the living Greek language' was not read before the Royal Society. Rix has not seen any announcement of the paper but thinks it may have been read before the Royal Society of Literature or the Hellenic Society. 6 March 1890
