<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Waterlow & Sons, Finsbury Stationery Works, E.C.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix sent a postcard a week ago asking when to expect the plates for Mr Joly's paper. When the Royal Society last saw the Messrs representative they were promised in a day or two but it is now some weeks with no delivery. The paper was placed into plates on the strength of the Messrs promise and they cannot issue for want of the plates. This delays the publication of all subsequent papers and stops the whole of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Rix asks for some assurance of speedy delivery.</dc:description>
