Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Michael Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society 'Herewith the 'Challenger' letter. Rix doubts it will bring the money as Foster gives no evidence that the whole sum will be wanted and the progress of the work is 'just nothing at all'.
