  <dc:description>The paper by Mr Pennan has not been sent to the Royal Society and Rix supposes Professor Ramsay has it. He wonders if he should write to Ramsay to send it on. The enclosed letter [not attached] from Mr Lippincott is addressed to the Secretary and so Rix sends it herewith. Rix wonders if such letters in general should go to Captain Abney in future whomesoever they are addressed to. </dc:description>
