Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society Rix bought the request contained in Lankester's note of 16 March before the Soirée sub-Committee and Dr Heron will be invited to the May Soirée this year. Next year Heron will be considered by the Soirée Committee with reference to the advisability of placing him upon the permanent list. 10 April 1890
