Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Chree, King's College, Cambridge Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] wrote to Chree on 21 February asking that a paragraph might be added to Chree's paper concerning the chemical character of the metal. They have not received a reply and it is time the paper was published. If Chree can let them have the paragraph at once it might save the time and expense of re-making the pages. They are arranging four curves in the form of plates. If Chree would prefer them as woodcuts in the text Rix asks to know at once. 14 April 1890
