<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Evans, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix sends the enclosed letter [not attached] from Mr Carruthers to Evans as it is addressed to him but properly speaking it should have been added to the chairman of the Scientific Relief Committee. There is no need for it to go before the Royal Society's Council until it has been considered by the Committee. If Rix will return the letter once read he will summon the Scientific Relief Committee before the next Council. </dc:description>
