<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Miss Chambers, Rutland House, Blundellsands, Liverpool</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix asks Miss Chambers to begin work on 22 July. She will have two days to learn the topography of the office and to do a little in the correction of sheets and on Thursday Mr White will return from his holiday. Rix has asked White to spend a week coaching Chambers so that the routine may be established before Rix leaves England on 1 August. White, who is now assistant librarian, was formerly at the head of the cataloguing department and Chambers will have to look to him a good deal in the details of the work. </dc:description>
