  <dc:description>In accordanne with Preece's request Rix sends herewith Preece's corrected proof of the number four. The Royal Society preserve the manuscript but do not keep the proof. Rix reminds Preece that a paper cannot be republished without the leave of the President and the author and the President expressly declines to give his consent to the publication of any archives paper with the statement that it was read before the Royal Society.</dc:description>
