Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Alfred Barton Rendle, British Museum (Natural History) Dr [Michael] Foster suggests Rendle should consult with Mr Vines, and let Rix know what the remuneration ought to be fore the proposed work on the catalogue and whether payment should be by time or by piece work. Rix would be glad if Rendle could do this at once as the Treasurer [John Evans] leaves England shortly and Rix must obtain his sanction. 12 November 1890
