  <dc:description>A letter has been received from the Board of Trade requesting the Royal Society in conjunction with the board to fix the denominations of standards for the measurement of the ohm, ampere and volt. Rix will keep the letter for the Council meeting on 11 December. 

Rix encloses Mr Glazebrook's report on Mr Jones's paper [not attached]. The two books were sent to Lord Rayleigh yesterday.</dc:description>
