<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Few & Company</dc:title>
<dc:description>In answer to the Messrs letter of 15 December Rix sends herewith; a copy of his letter to Messrs Drake & Gorham dated 25 October, a copy of his letter to Mr Preece of the same dates, and a copy of Preece's answer to the latter [no items attached]. Rix quotes the resolution of Council of the 11 December which states that the Secretary consult the Society's solicitors as to whether Messrs Drake & Gorham, in supplying the Society with their present installation without warning as to the possible claims of the Lane-Fox Company did not thereby render themselves liable to meet those claims. Rix was not at the meeting but as far as he is aware Drake & Gorham have not denied their liability. </dc:description>
