Copy letter from John Rose Bradford to Thomas Lupton, Solicitor to the Royal Institution 'Dear Sir, Dr Gore deceased. The President and Council at their meeting last week had under consideration the question of the erection of a headstone over the grave of Dr Gore, and I am directed to say that the Royal Society will raise no objection to the deduction of the Executors from the estate of Dr Gore of a sum not exceeding £20 to be devoted to this purpose provided the Royal Institution agree to a similar concession.' 3 May 1909
