The President and Council at their meeting last week had under consideration the question of the erection of a headstone over the grave of Dr Gore, and I am directed to say that the Royal Society will raise no objection to the deduction of the Executors from the estate of Dr Gore of a sum not exceeding £20 to be devoted to this purpose provided the Royal Institution agree to a similar concession.'</dc:description>
