Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor [William Matthew] Finders Petrie FRS 'My dear Sir, I have to thank you for your letter of the 5th instant, and profferred exhibit for the Soiree; but since the programme for next week has just been settled at a second meeting of the Committee, I hardly feel justified in accepting a fresh exhibit; as we are already rather full. If however, you will allow your offer to stand I should like to lay it before the Committee which will shortly meet to settle the arrangements for the June Soiree, which will probably be held on June 24.' 7 May 1909
