  <dc:description>The paper by Mr H C Ross "On the vaculation of the blood-platelets, etc", which was communicated by Sherrington, has been under consideration and it not regarded as suitable for publication in the Proceedings [of the Royal Society]. Harrison is to suggest that the paper be curtailed to the limits of a short note, and the coloured plate omitted, with the short note being published in the Proceedings. If the author agrees to the proposal the manuscript can be returned to him; but if not then Sherrington, as communicator, may withdraw the paper.</dc:description>
