<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to A [Alfred] B [Bray] Kempe, Treasurer RS </dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison has made further enquiries at the Antiquaries about the 'boiler question' and has not been able to see the correspondence which took place eight years ago; Harrison is in communication with their Treasurer who is believed to have it. Their minutes however show that Lord Esher (then Secretary) agreed to apply to the Treasury to make an order to reimburse the Society £150 towards the expense of the new boiler. This confirms was Harrison believes, which is that the Treasury 'must be brought to bear on behalf of our Societies in order to get any large expense defrayed by the Office of Works'.</dc:description>
