Copy letter from William Crookes Foreign Secretary RS to The Secretary, Reale Accademic dei Lincei, Rome Crookes informs the Secretary that in 1899 a portion of the fund raised by International subscription, as a memorial to the late Dr J P Joule for the purpose of funding the Joule Studentship. Crookes outlines the regulations of the studentship and asks if the Reale Accademia dei Lincei will undertake the duty of finding a suitable recipient for this Studentship. 26 June 1909
